Seva
Seva is the spiritual practice of selfless service. Seva, a Sanskrit word, springs from two forms of yoga, Karma Yoga which is yoga of action and Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of worship inspired by divine love.*
Seva is simply described, yet is one of most profound and life changing ways that we can put our spiritual knowledge into action. Here at Puja Wellness, we are making the intention to include Seva in the daily work of our center, and we invite you to participate with us.
Every year we feature a nonprofit who is promoting peace in our local, national, or international community. Our aim is to raise awareness, collect monetary donations, and radiate positive energy toward each organizations’ endeavors.
Please visit this page or subscribe to our blog to receive updates on our Seva practice. Thank you for coming along the journey with us.

Previously Featured Non-Profit: Hands Together
Hands Together is an incredible organization which endeavors to build sustainable livelihoods for the most poor and destitute in Haiti. The money they raise goes directly toward emergency relief and building schools, community centers, water irrigation systems, and farming supplies. They hire and train Haitian citizens to run these schools and systems, thereby giving them the power and skills to build their own future.
Not only do they provide those services, but they also stand up for the human rights of the Haitian people, creating the space and opportunity for peaceful dialogue right at the front lines of political and gang violence.
