Niki Henderson

Niki started her work in the healing arts as a Reiki I & II practitioner in 2008.  Soon after, she realized she wanted to learn how to work with an individual’s physical body as well as their energy field.  She chose to study at Tibia Massage School due to their emphasis on energetics and transformational work.  Since graduating in February 2009 she has worked at the TIBIA Healing Center.

Niki recognizes the importance of being present in each session as she facilitates and provides a safe and sacred space for each client’s innate healing to occur.  At Tibia, she learned a wide variety of techniques and skills to assess and address an individual’s needs.  Her bodywork is integrative, and she offers the following modalities: energy work, Swedish & Deep Tissue massage, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy,  Aromatherapy and Essential Oil Application.

Niki also offers an intuitive-based technique known as Transformational Bodywork for people looking for a deeper level of personal and/or spiritual healing.  Transformational Bodywork is a practice in being present and allowing the session to be intuitively guided with the use of music, energy and/or bodywork, spoken intuitive guidance and essential oils; this technique offers clients a way back to themselves and is especially suited for people experiencing a specific physical/emotional/spiritual block.
