Rebecca Printen

My personal discovery of yoga was soon after my first child was born, 21 years ago. I decided I needed to learn to relax more and to “get back in shape”. I had very little knowledge of what yoga was about, and thought of it as a form of exercise. What a wonderful surprise to find out the practice of yoga is so much more. I was amazed at how I felt in my body after a weekly yoga class.  There seemed to be a magical quality to it.  It allowed me the time to get to know myself in my body, and I felt I was getting to know myself better as a mother.I felt inspired to connect to a part of myself I had never met before.  I felt like I had made a new friend. As I continue with my daily practice twenty-one years later, I am still amazed at how yoga continues to bring a deep sense of connection and beauty to my life.

I am a registered yoga teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance.  I completed my 200 hour teacher training with Scott Anderson, and am currently in my advanced (500 hour) teacher training which I enjoy very much.
